Creating Database User in XAMPP

 

Before we install WordPress, we need to create a database and user in advance. This we should do because WordPress is a website application that requires a database to store the data that we use. 

1. First of all we have to go to phpMyAdmin in XAMPP. Type in the browser address http: // localhost / phpmyadmin thus appear like this ..

 

2. On the Database menu, please enter the name of the desired database, and then click Create. Remember the name of the database is yes, because we will use it later. If necessary, write on the notepad application so easy for us to remember.create your database at will you

 

3.  Now it is time we add a user name for the database that we just created. Please go to the database that has been created, you can find it on the left side. Once inside, see Privileges menu. Then click Add user.

 

4. Once you click the Add User will display the new user creation form. Fill in the username, you can insert it with any name teserah you, the important thing you memorized. Then fill also host, use use any text field, then fill with localhost. Furthermore, input the password 2 times and should be the same. Lastly, check grant all privileges on the database. 

 

5. please you wait, unfinished. Scroll down, and you'll find the option Global Privileges to grant permissions for users to manage all database, click Check All alone. After that, push the button Add User.
